Our Village Hall offers a spacious, well-lit, flexible space, perfect for a wide range of events.  Whether you're hosting a community gathering, private party or local class, we have the facilities to accomodate your needs.

  • Spacious and flexible layout: the Hall can be arranged in various ways, including cabaret style seating, theatre-style seating or with smaller tables for events like coffee mornings or stalls
  • Lighting and heating:  adjustable LED lighting and comfortabe LPG heating with conventional radiators ensure perfect atmosphere, regardless of the season.
  • Accessibility:  disabled access is available upon request, with a portable ramp.

  • Flooring:  smooth concrete surface
  • Ideal for traditional skittles games and other recreational activities 

 

🛋️ Furniture & equipment 

 

  • Seating:  60 comfortable chairs and a smaller selection of white outdoor chairs for the garden
  • Tables:  a mix of large and small tables, available for hire, both for events in the hall or separately 
  • Additional facilities:  table linens, plenty of dish towels, glasses, matching crockery and cutlery 

 

🍽️ Kitchen facilities

 

Our fully equipped kitchen includes

 

  • Cooking & cool storage:  all the essentials for catering
  • Utensils:  matching crockery, cutlery, and glassware, including cups, saucers and larger mugs
  • Cleaning:  a well stocked dish towel supply for all your needs 

 

🏓 Recreation and entertainment

 

We offer a variety of fun activities for all ages:

  • Bar Facility: Operate your own bar with a range of drinks and snacks. (Please note, a drinks license can be obtained by the hirer from East Devon District Council.)
  • Full-Sized Skittle Alley: A classic oak skittle alley (16m x 3m) with a simple ball return
  • Table Games:
    • Air-hockey and miniature pool table on castors, easy to move around
    • 2 full-sized table tennis tables with bats and balls
    • A dartboard, mat, and darts
  • Indoor Games: A selection of games suitable for all ages, perfect for fun and entertainment

 

📺 AV & Additional Equipment 

 

A projector with a pull-down screen, perfect for presentations or movie nights (noting that WiFi is not available)
